Google Changed Their Algorithm Last Month
As we shared in our previous post, Google changed their algorithm starting April 21. This change rewarded mobile-friendly websites on mobile search and has the potential to lower mobile search result rankings for websites who are not mobile friendly.
So, what happened? At this point, not much! The change began April 21 and took about a week to complete. We have been checking traffic for all of our marketing clients and have not seen a major change so far. Of course, it is in early stages and we will continue to watch your traffic. Google has continued to encourage mobile-friendly websites and we feel confident that it will have an impact over time.

Summer is Coming!
Warm weather is in the air and people will be starting to take their summer vacations soon. As you are preparing your business for the summer, don’t forget to update your social media cover photos to reflect the season. Remember to check for old pricing and dates on your website, too, and let us know if you need help making changes to reflect the upcoming season.
Now is also a great time to share last summer’s photos on social media and blog posts. The reason for this is twofold: 1. Remind previous guests how much fun they had with you, and 2. Show prospective guests who are researching how much fun they could have with you! We know that guests use social media to research their vacation planning, and you can use this to your advantage.
